General Tips While Protesting

We have been to countless protests. Here's what we find to be most useful while attending.

Bring a friend: You are always safer when you have someone you trust to go with.

Bring plenty of water: Marching can quickly tire you out. Especially when it is warm, make sure to have enough water.

Dress appropiately for the weather: Bring a jacket if it's cold or wear a more breathable outfit when warm. Bring an umbrella if it's raining.

Have someone to call: Be sure to tell someone not going to the protest that you are attending, and make sure to memorize their phone number in case anything goes wrong.
